Pass me a tissue the last episode of E4’s Body Fixers has just aired and man was it terrific. Our Daniel and Alex tackled an extreme make-up on Krystina, transforming her from over the top tacky to over the top Jessica Rabbit, red hair and dress ‘n all. Next, Daniel came head to head with Zayn Malik from One Direction… nah, only joking, it was Nick, a professional lookalike, who wanted to look more like his hero to get more gigs, money and ladies. And didn’t Daniel deliver, wow, we had to look twice. Well, the first series of E4’s Body Fixers has come to an end—a huge congratulations to all of the team, E4 and Studio Lambert. We hope for a second season!

Episode 6 highlights

Here we have it, the sixth episode of #BodyFixers!

In the sixth episode of E4’s Body Fixers we saw Daniel and Alex double team Stephanie (and her twins, Frankie and Charlie), giving her a much needed make-down. Daniel reduced Stephanie’s look by removing her dark and heavy head piece and then by warming up the now shorter cut, leaving her with a stylish look that she loved. Whilst in the process, there were talks of how Stephanie was once a neighbour to the ex-Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge, Cheryl Cole—Ooo la la. Once again, to the rest of the Body Fixers team, a huge congrats, we can’t wait to see the next episode.

Episode 5 highlights

We're half way there and the fifth episode of E4's Body Fixers was amazing.

The fifth episode of E4’s Body Fixers saw Daniel come head-to-head with Romani’s problem on top. With years of balding, coupled with plenty of glue, Romani was suffering with severe damage to what was left of his hair. So our Daniel took to creating a timeless hair piece Romani could wear as a crown, holding his head up high, proud as anything. The results are amazing and Romani thoughts so, too. Once again, to the rest of the Body Fixers team, a huge congrats, we can’t wait to see the next episode.

Episode 1 highlights

The first episode has now premiered with #BodyFixers trending on Twitter!

A very positive reaction across social media for the first episode of E4’s Body Fixers this evening. Well, what can we say, Daniel you absolutely smashed it out of the ball park and did a fantastic job, we’re ever so proud of you. For those that didn’t see this evening’s first of many instalments of Body Fixers, here’s what you missed; Daniel gave Eddie Adams a more manly make-over; he then planted a cheeky kiss on Henry Benham and made Nicola, a recent breast cancer survivor, the happiest woman alive (until she marries Dan that is—not our Dan, her Dan). To the rest of the Body Fixers team, a huge congrats, we can’t wait to see the next episode.

You've reminded me why I love my job

More about Daniel Granger

As a child, Daniel wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps and become an architect or a builder. The idea of creating something practical and beautiful, from the ground up, appealed to him at a young age. One Christmas after his father passed he was given a pair of clippers with the intention of saving money by cutting his hair at home. This is where his passion for hair dressing began. His biggest drive was to have a business of his own, and at the age of 20 he started his first salon.  When not cutting hair in the Body Fixers Salon he also owns and runs an award winning salon in Northampton.

Daniel has a string of industry awards to his name and been a finalist at the Eastern British Hairdresser of the Year Awards for 3 years, being voted one of the top 6 in the country. He was also a finalist in the ‘Great British Hair’ television series – however removed himself from that competition after realising the job offered as a prize would prevent him from seeing his family and friends. He’s done session styling for numerous international publications, taught hairdressing around the world and has an A-list client list.

Daniel likes to keep at the forefront of cutting edge hairdressing techniques and is constantly evolving his skillset. “Precision cutting is the strongest of my skills utilising line, layer and graduation to create any look, build weight, add texture or volume to an otherwise ordinary haircut. An understanding of the fundamental techniques can take you from the commercial to the avant-garde”.

Daniel is a workaholic – he cuts hair every day of the year “if you love what you do you want to do it every day”.
